How to Prepare & Use:

  1. Place a pan/vessel on a stove (in a low flame) and carefully dry roast the ingredients (6, 7 and 8) just until it begins to release its aroma (without smoking it) and immediately transfer to a pestle & mortar. (Note: Avoid roasting it to a point of smoking, otherwise it will loose its nutrients.) After a minute or two of cooling down of the roasted to pound it to medium coarse powder and transfer it to a boiling vessel.
  2. Place the vessel on a stove (in a low flame) with 1 cup of water with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of the grounded Herbal Tea powder, along with a shoot of Lemon grass, 4-6 Desi rose petals, an inch of Dry desi ginger and a smashed Cardamom. Once it comes to a point of boil, continue to boil it for 2 minutes before taking it off the stove.
  3. Filter it using a sieve into a cup with a couple of Pudina leaves, Tulasi leaves, and a slice of lemon or lime.
  4. Consume it warm (along with a teaspoon of honey if you need that extra-bit of energy spike).
